West Virginia's Christmas City welcomes back the parade

Bluefield, WV – The Christmas Parade is back and better than ever. Now being dubbed "The Christmas City Parade", this year will have a new look and feel as the parade route has been expanded to accommodate numerous floats, walking groups, and other entries.


The deadline to register your float/walking group/etc. is December 8th. The registration form can be found at www.westvirginiaschristmascity.com/parade

The community and media are invited to the City of Bluefield/Bluefield Professional Firefighters Local 347 Christmas Parade. The event will take place Saturday, December 11, 2021. 4:00 pm. The lineup will be in the Tractor Supply Parking Lot beginning at 3:00 pm. There is a new route this year:

  1. Cumberland Road

  2. Bland Road

  3. College Avenue

  4. Stadium Drive

  5. Cherry Street

  6. Bluefield Avenue

At 4:15 pm at the Bluefield Daily Telegraph building, Bands and Marching/Walking Units will line up and be able to join the parade. The parade should arrive on Bluefield Avenue at 4:30 and will travel to Princeton Avenue and end at the BIG TREE [Animated Christmas Tree]. The event is free and open to the public.
